Independent Reading in Civ

Each Civ class begins with 10-15 minutes of silent, independent reading.  This gives the students an opportunity to seek out new novels that interest them.  Occasionally, we'll have in class responses or take-home written responses to reflect on the characters or their struggle(s).   We'll also take advantage of library visits to browse as a class and learn how to choose readers that match our interests. 

This page will serve as an area for students to share and discuss novels that they've read.
