Early Humans Unit

This early human unit marks a very important beginning for our work in Civ class.  This study about the origins of people, community, language, art and thinking will set the foundation for the entire year in Civ.  As we learn more about early humans like "Lucy," we'll question how historians study and interpret facts.  We'll learn about different sources of information like primary and secondary sources.  We'll question and think deeply about what makes a credible fact.  Most importantly, we'll think about what it means to be a historian; what challenges they encounter and how facts can and do change over time.
